Yindalini Masterclass - Amir Jaan

This Yindalini Yoga class is a mix of Kundalini Yoga and Yin Practice. As an introduction to this discipline, Amir will begin with opening comments and meditation to give you a taste of his philosophy, followed by a gentle warm-up and a series of postures with exquisite deep meditative music producing a practical and functional toolkit to help mitigate the stress and tension of modern day life. The class will end by a meditation. It is a slow but deep practice developing strength in a gentle way.

It is a practice that is simple, achievable, sustainable, and effective. It is important to Amir that his classes are accessible and available for everyone regardless of tradition, experience, age, and physical ability.

ABOUT AMIR

Amir's fascination in the White Tantric Temple Arts began over 25 years ago. These are energetic practices that establish, strengthen, and sustain optimum health;  physical, mental, and emotional. Amir's years of teaching with the general pubic, charities supporting people in recovery, young offenders, and private consultations for those with particular and/or special needs, have contributed to both the depth and breath of his knowledge and experience.

Amir teaches techniques taken from the ancient monastic tradition of yoga, blended & combined with the latest scientific understanding of psychology, physiology and anatomy. After many years of studying, exploring, experimenting & practicing with various classical forms of yoga and meditation, Amir has formulated a contemporary fusion of all those tried and tested techniques into his own unique method.

After undergoing a traditional and rigorous apprenticeship for more than 10 years, Amir has gone on to become the principle teacher at a number of London’s top professional yoga studios. Amir has became a teacher of teachers and the senior mentors at one of the worlds most esteemed yoga schools for 12 years. He now uses yoga therapy as the main therapeutic approach in his private health consultancy in Switzerland.  And during his annual schedule of international yoga and adventure retreats / healing holidays.

THE YOGA

The practices are both experimental and experiential; producing a practical and functional toolkit to help mitigate the stress and tension of modern day life. It is a practice that is simple, achievable, sustainable, and effective. It is important to Amir that his classes are accessible and available for everyone regardless of tradition, experience, age, and physical ability.

Amir's ongoing inquiry and investigation into the science of physical and spiritual anatomy and the way they work together have led him to develop a fusion of yoga practices that are classical yet very contemporary and adaptable. These incorporate exquisite music and cross- pollinate complementary practices from a variety of wisdom traditions.
