In this class, students move from posture to posture in a dynamic sequence in harmony with the breath. At times we move quickly, at other times more slowly, depending on the time of day and the general feel of the moment. The pace is slightly faster than regular Hatha yoga, the intention is to build stamina, strength, mental focus and clarity. We end with a delicious relaxation to settle the nervous system and leave in a calm yet energised state.
When practicing yin yoga you develop your mobility by applying positive stress to your deep connective tissues.
Our Hot Yoga classes are inspired by both the Barkan and Absolute Hot yoga sequences. We encourage new students to take it easy in their first few classes and for best results practice as much as your schedule permits during the introduction period.
